messaging matters

Messaging matters in sales (marketing too.....but let's save that for another post).

Messaging is layered. It isn't just the words that are spoken. You must consider how as well as when.

Messaging must be a conversation. If you are doing all the talking, something is very very wrong.

So the next time you are working on your messaging remember this list:
1. Who?
2. What?
3. When?
4. How?
5. Pause often to listen and get feedback.
