Sales requires a long term mindset. Anyone who wants to tell themselves otherwise is wrong. So let me save you a lot of pain and heartache now.

First, expect to NOT see any results for 6 months and be okay with that. Getting this expectation in your mind upfront is key to doing what you need to do to get to the eventual results.

Next, own a long term mindset. This means cultivating relationships that are authentic. This means you need to be actually curious about getting to know your customer in a real way.

Finally, realize that trust is key and to develop it, you must earn it. You earn trust by being authentic. You earn trust by doing what you say you will do. People like to buy from people they trust.

Be real! Be authentic! Be curious! Think long term!
